Stuart has been engaged as moderator by the Elite Travel Group - www.elitetravelgroup.co.uk - (formerly known as Midconsort) for its annual conferences in Majorca (1999), Cyprus (2000),  Malta (2001), Tenerife (2002), Marrakech (2003), Malaga (2004), Portugal (2005), Alicante (2006), Jerez (2007) & Lanzarote (2008).  He also hosted the group's first UK-based conference at the Royal Court Hotel, Coventry in July 2005 .

He will be involved again with the Elite Conference in 2009.

Stuart Linnell MC'd the Aubrey Allen Midlands Chef Of The Year awards in 2001, 2002 & 2003.  Following the 2003 event, held at the Birmingham College of Food, the Managing Director of Aubrey Allen Ltd, Peter Allen wrote:

Stuart Linnell MBE is the resident match-day corporate hospitality host for Coventry City Football Club at the Ricoh Arena. The club's Commercial Director writes:

In April 2003, the Improvement and Development Agency for local government ran a conference in Birmingham to examine how  Walsall Borough Council had revived its fortunes. Stuart Linnell was engaged to interview key personalities during the conference.  The Principal Consultant of I&DeA, Phil Hampton, wrote:

Stuart Linnell MC'd  the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Coventry Blitz, in Coventry city centre in November 2000, featuring a personal appearance by Dame Vera Lynn. The then Lord Mayor of Coventry, Cllr Mrs Sheila Collins wrote:

"Thank you for participating in such an historic occasion for the City, and I am delighted that you were able to join me in leading the event for the citizens of Coventry. Your contribution was really appreciated, and added value to the poignant moment in Coventry's history."

abcd Gala Concert, 2003

Stuart Linnell compéred the Association of British Choral Directors Gala Concert at Symphony Hall, Birmingham in September 2003. General Secretary of abcd, Rachel Greaves wrote: 

"Thank you for compéring our gala concert at Symphony Hall. The whole evening seemed to go with a swing and your presence on stage was invaluable in ensuring this."

Birmingham Schools Music Service Gala Concerts  

Stuart Linnell compéred the Birmingham Schools Gala Concerts for seven years.  Head of Ensembles Bob Vivian wrote: 

"Thank you for compéring our Gala Concerts - as always it was a real pleasure to work with you. 

As our compére the professionalism you bring to our concerts always succeeds in making these events so enjoyable and smooth running. It is a real comfort to me, and the stage crew, to know that should any sudden hiccups occur, we can always rely on you to bridge the gap."

The Euro Election results programme, broadcast on all BBC local radio stations across the Midlands, on 13th June 1999, was presented by Stuart Linnell.  BBC WM Managing Editor David Robey wrote:

I thought Stuart's presentation was perfect for the occasion - your confidence and knowledge of the issues across the region, combined with your grasp of the wider picture, gave it a very authoritative sound. Well done. There was no time when things flagged.
